Schistosoma haematobium eggs are sufficient to induce urothelial hyperplasia in the bladder. Mice underwent bladder wall injection with S. haematobium eggs. Five weeks later, their bladders were harvested, processed, sectioned, and stained with hematoxylin and eosin.
